Why is it actually called
EGON HOTEL?

In short: "Because Egon simply couldn't help himself…" ;)

In 1985, Egon — a young hospitality professional from Denmark — came to Hamburg to learn from the best and deepen his passion for genuine hospitality. After years as a hotel director and developing new concepts in Denmark, he returned 20 years later to create something of his own.

Right in the heart of the city, the EGON HOTEL came to life — and to this day it remains a true family project, with the next generation already part of the journey.

The vision: A cosy, easy-going and personal 3-star hotel where hospitality is truly lived.
